It all begins with an idea.
Wow this has been quite the task, luckily I have lots of buddies to ping when I get stuck. It’s been a long time since I played with website building but I have to admit they make it pretty easy for the most part. Of course there is always something to do when opening a new business and I am still modifying my syllabus of offerings for “salesmentorz”. I honestly did not realize there were so many chapters until I started putting it on paper and breaking it up into bite size pieces. It could turn into a best seller book when I get done at this rate 😁
I still need to get the search engines fed with key words and terms so y’all can find me when you need help getting your sales teams polished up. I will also be adding my alliances which are industry contacts and friends that would augment what we do. We won’t take on a project if we don’t 100% support the content, hence having alliances.

Blog 2: Countdown to launch…..
It all begins with an idea.
“It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”
I read that statement above and thought more about should I or shouldn’t I create this blog. Guess what, I decided to move forward since “it’s a BLOG” :-) Launch is taking longer than I expected since there are all these little things I needed to get done and there truly is no specific order. I requested an LLC from the state, well that takes about 2 weeks. I decided to make my website a bit more professional, so I moved to Squarespace. I spoke with a lot of my friends and mentors and we all bounced different ideas around but it kept coming back to sales training. Then came the logo. I wanted a cool logo but also it needed to be professional, eye catching and memorable, ( all this is as per AI guidance ) so I now have a logo. Then I needed to get my LinkedIn profile updated and company recognized by LI. Finally I got back to making this site as professional, neat, tidy, easy to maneuver, and detailed with easily understanding the point of what we do and “why us”. Hopefully I got most of that correct. Now another document to the county for a DBA under my LLC and I think I can flip the sign to OPEN.

It all begins with an idea.
Day zero and I just started creating this site. You may wonder “why would I use these services?”. I wondered that as I spoke with some of my brain trust and they told me it’s sorely needed in the industry. As I thought more and more about my many years in sales and pre sales and the people I have interacted with it became clear. How many times have I been sold to and knew more than the person trying to take money from me. On another note how many times have I run into a truly knowledgeable and personable sales person that I wanted to hire. With all that said I felt that I would give it a try, so away we go with what I hope will benefit many with guidance and direction from many years of successful selling experiences to share.
